Lycia Records is a boutique record company with a focus on jazz and improvisational music. Founded by Sarp Maden and Space Goats, the label is dedicated to the production and exposure of work that is aesthetically and creatively skillful. We designed Lycia Records’ brand identity to showcase their dedication to artistic mastery and created a layout system for their album covers to turn each of their releases into parts of an archival collection. We also paid homage to the label’s namesake historic Aegian city in the logo design, as the letter Y references cuneiform script.
We have also partnered with the label to create the cover art for each of their releases.
