After a 3 year hiatus, İzmir reunited with its favorite theater festival.
We designed Bergama Theater Festival's brand ID during its first run, drawing inspiration from Bergama’s distinct historic and cultural fabric, and crafted an award-winning communication campaign. For the new 2021 campaign, we stayed true to this creative vision. Theater draws out the persons inside an actor and the viewer. We visualized this variety of character by drawing out faces from busts of historic sculptures - reminiscent of theatrical masks. This concept came to life through a series of animated posters of 3D modeled sculptures.
